PHILOSOPHY

"There is no better endorsement of The Mariners' Museum's regard for and confidence in The Kellogg Organization than the convincing fact that we have engaged them for a second capital campaign. They have provided first rate, energetic, enthusiastic fund raising counsel for our Museum. And the advice comes from the head of the firm, not a second or third tier lieutenant as so often happens with other firms."
John B. Hightower, retired President and CEO
The Mariners' Museum, Newport News, Virginia
$12,000,000 Culture of the Sea Campaign, $30,000,000 USS Monitor Center

The Kellogg Organization limits the number of clients it serves at any one time. The firm's enthusiasm, protocol and distinctive creative style have earned it the reputation as one of America's premier fundraising counseling firms.

The Kellogg Organization adheres to the following philosophy and principles:
  • The firm generally does not undertake any more than 14 projects simultaneously during the 18-24 month campaign period, protecting the commitment of its principals and senior executive consultants to maintain personal direction of campaign research, structuring and implementation; contact with clients; and daily direction of on-site senior executive consultants.

  • Cost-effectiveness of fees and management of campaign operating budgets always receive a high-priority in The Kellogg Organization's campaigns. Whenever costs are discussed with prospective clients, the fees, as well as the inclusion or exclusion of reimbursable expenses, are always reviewed in detail before being agreed to by both parties.

  • Careful research, analysis and strategy are the foundations upon which The Kellogg Organization's successful fund-raising campaigns are planned, implemented and operated.
